Over the weekend we were out at Umphrey Family Pavilion at Lake Sam Rayburn for the Big Bass Splash hosted by Sealy Outdoors. The overall winner of the tournament actually brought his bass in on the first day within the 10 AM hour. Needless to say he was a nervous wreck until the end of the tournament.

Bob Sealy even pulled a whopper of a prank on the overall leader, Ralph Dupuy (Pronounced Du-pree). We caught all the fun, and posted it on our YouTube channel, and it's already got over 1,300 views.

We got to see some huge payouts, significantly less boating accidents, and lots of overall good times out on the lake. Bob Sealy was able to give our friends at St. Jude Children's Hospital a check for $16,000, give away some trucks, boats, and much more.

There's something for everyone at these events, and there's always a bit of magic in the air.

The next Big Bass Splash event will be on Lake Toledo bend in Louisiana. We'll be there keeping everyone up-to-date on all the bass to beat, and top fish of each hour. Remind those angler to follow us on Twitter so they know whether or not to bring in those exact weights or if they should be trying for a hefty money fish. You can also visit our Twitter feed and search the hashtag #BigBassSplash2018 to see all the highlights from the tournament.
