Highway 59 Southbound Connector to Loop 287 Now Open

Big changes have taken place today with the US 59/Loop 287 construction project.  The southbound connector bridge allowing US 59 southbound traffic to have direct access to Loop 287 is now open.  The project, slated for completion in January 2016, is designed to allow traffic on US 59, US 69 and Loop 287 to flow freely through the intersections of U.S. 59 and Loop 287 and will improve vertical clearances at all bridges.
