KICKS 105, CHI St. Luke’s Hope to Save Lives with Heart Takeover

Today on the Merrell in the Morning Show we are teaming up with CHI St. Luke's Health in Lufkin to recognize National Heart Month.  Heart disease is America's number one killer, and in East Texas, unfortunately, the number of people with this disease is far above the average.

So...how do you reduce those numbers?  First, it takes education...then, it takes action and accessibility to treatment.  Thankfully, we have one of the best hospitals in the nation when it comes to treating issues with the heart.  CHI St. Luke's Health along with their partnership with the Heart Institute of East Texas give East Texans access to award winner doctors and cardiologists as well as to cutting edge devices and treatments.

Today, on the Merrell in the Morning show we are going commercial free so that we can feature interviews with representatives from these facilities so that we can start the educational process and hopefully through this education...save lives.  The schedule of interviews is listed below.
