Lady Hornets Get Big Send Off to Austin [PHOTOS]

Thursday morning at 9, the Hudson Lady Hornets will be playing the West Lady Trojans in Austin for the right to advance to the 3a state championship game.

This morning, a 'send-off' parade was held for the team.  The bus carrying the Lady Hornets was led by police cars and fire trucks through the campuses of Hudson ISD and then in front of a crowd waiting along Highway 94 by the Hudson Volunteer Fire Department.

Young and old, two-legged and four-legged folks, signs on a cherry picker, and even a few funny hats were seen in the crowd.

One theme that kept running through some of the signs was the bible verse Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
