Earlier today, in the wee morning hours, about 80-90 meteors per hour were visible to those that were viewing the Perseid meteor shower.

You'll have one more opportunity late tonight.  You may be able to see a sprinkling of meteors after sunset tonight, but in order to see the best array of 'shooting stars' you'll need to gaze at the sky between 2 and 5 in the morning.

Last night was probably the peak of the Perseids, however, 50-60 meteors an hour are still possible to see in a dark area.  There is really no need to look at a certain area of the sky as the meteors tend to radiate from all parts of the heavens.
