They bark, they purr, but most of all, they love.

Check out the pets of the week from the Humane Society of Angelina County who are 'Looking for a Home'.

Let's start with Max -- he's a rat terrier that's between 1-2 years of age.  He's lovable and loves to snuggle...and lick.  He is heartworm positive but this is very treatable...in fact, I've had a heartworm positive dog for over 8 years and she's doing just fine.  Max would make a great addition to your family.

How about 'Lil Bit' (pictured above) --- She is an ultra-curious cat who has striking eyes and a beautiful color.  As soon as she got into the KICKS 105 studio she wanted to check out every inch of the place and she was quick to spot the squirrel outside our control room.  She's fun, lovable, and full of purrs for the family.

These two pets have enjoyed their lengthy stay at the Humane Society of Angelina County, but it's not a home.  Could you provide a home for one of these beautiful creatures?  There are others available for adoption at HSAC.

They are located at 1102 N John Redditt next to Borden on the loop.  You can call 639-1880 or check out their website.
