When the CMT Music Awards kick off on Wednesday (June 6), they will have not one, not two, not three, but four hosts in the form of country group Little Big Town. While they're excited about their big gig, they say they'll be doing things a bit differently than some hosts, since it's unlikely they'll be roasting any of their colleagues.

“I think if we roast with four people it might be overwhelming,” singer Phillip Sweet tells CMT. “When you prank four-times over, you’re bound to get pranked back.”

“I love the crowd there,” LBT’s Kimberly Schlapman says. “They are so electric. They are the most excited crowd almost that we see all year. That part is going to be fun.”

Yet, not all of the members of LBT sound so confident at the moment.

“TV is always the hardest because you are sitting around and sitting around and then they are like, ‘Go! Get it done!” says LBT’s Jimi Westbrook. “You’ve got seconds.”

Not only will the group be hosting the CMT Music Awards, Little Big Town will also kick off the show with a performance of their new single, “Summer Fever.”

"It’s always amazing when a song seems to just wait for its own perfect timing,” says Jesse Frasure, who co-wrote the song. “Getting the chance to bring this song to life in the writing room with my co-writers, and through the opportunity to co-produce with my friend Shane McAnally has been a dream come true.  I can't wait to hear this song coming out of a rolled down window this summer.”
