Local Teacher Wins $1,000 Gasoline Drawing

She is the winner of $1,000 in Polk Pick It Up gasoline. During the 29th Annual Texas State Forest Festival, visitors were encouraged to sign up for the giveaway.
Kay Hartnett's name was drawn on Sunday, September 22nd. She is a teacher at St. Cyprian’s School in Lufkin.

During the 29th Annual Texas State Forest Festival presented by Brookshire Brothers attendees were given entry tickets to be placed into a drawing for a $1,000 Polk Pick It Up gas giveaway. On Sunday, September 22, a name was drawn. Kay Hartnett, a St. Cyprian’s School teacher, is the recipient of the $1,000 Polk Pick It Up gas giveaway. Hartnett was presented with the check Monday, September 3, 2013 at the Polk Pick it Up at 1004 South John Redditt Drive.
