Loop 287 Exit Ramp Closures Set for Today in Lufkin

According to a press from the Texas Department of Transportation, work crews will close the exit ramp from Highway 59 to FM 58 (Chestnut) Wednesday for sign repairs. Once completed, they will move to Highway 69 South to install signs on the northbound side near Loop 287.

Motorists should prepare for delays and/or shoulder or lane closures and are urged to reduce speed near and through the work zones. Stay alert for workers and equipment.

This work should be completed by Wednesday afternoon, weather permitting.
