Lufkin HS Students Do Amazing Version of 'Oklahoma' at KICKS 105

This Thursday through Satuday, Lufkin High School Theater is presenting the musical, 'Oklahoma'. To publicize the event, we had some of the cast make an appearance on the Merrell in the Morning Show.

The original intent of the morning show interview was to introduce some of the cast to our listeners and to give out the details of the upcoming performances. I thought it also would be cool to have some of the cast sing a snippet of one of the songs from the musical. However, I got a lot more than what I had bargained, as the dozen or so students broke into an amazing version of the title song from the play.

After taking a look and listen to what these students can do impromptu in the KICKS 105 Studios, you owe it to yourself to check out the production. 'Oklahoma' will be presented Thursday through Saturday at Lufkin High School. Performances will be at 7pm Thursday and Friday evening, and 2pm and 7pm on Saturday. Tickets will be $5 at the door.
