Lufkin + Longview Clash Highlights Several Big Games Across East Texas

For the 73rd time, the Panthers and Lobos will be meeting on the high school gridiron tonight.  Lufkin holds a slight lead in the all time series, but as is usually the case, you can expect a great game tonight at John Outlaw Memorial Field as these two 5A powerhouses meet. 

There will be many other great match ups across East Texas:

Garrison and San Augustine will tangle tonight and you can always expect a hard hitting game between the Bulldogs and the Wolves.

Nacogdoches is winless and Carthage is one of the best teams in class 3A, but the Dragons have been a thorn in the side of the Bulldogs beating them twice in the last five years.

West Sabine has an explosive offense, Tenaha is one of the best teams in the 1A ranks, this could be a scoring fest tonight.

This past week featured 'Talk Like a Pirate Day'.  The Diboll Lumberjacks hope tonight is beat a Pirate night as they travel to take on Shepherd.
