Late Wednesday night, what started as a traffic stop escalated into a high speed pursuit that lasted around an hour encompassing Highway 103 East and FM 326. 

According to an Angelina County Sheriff's Report, deputies on patrol observed a speeding motorcycle and initiated a traffic stop.  The driver refused to stop and a pursuit ensued with speeds reaching 90 mph and continuing for approximately 1 hour before subject was stopped and arrested.  The motorcycle was found to be stolen.

Randy Lynn Tullos, Jr, 32, of Lufkin was arrested and charged with evading arrest/detention with vehicle, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and no liability insurance, among other charges.

His bond was set at $30,000.
