If you go to an ice cream or frozen yogurt store, you're allowed to ask for a sample or two of different flavors before deciding on your final choice. However, such activity is frowned upon at a convenience store.

It's especially frowned upon when you're taking the lids off the ice cream, licking the ice cream, and then putting the container back in the freezer.  NO...DON'T DO THAT!

Friday night around 8:30, Lufkin Police were dispatched to a convenience store near the intersection of Old Union Road and the West Loop.  Employees there were complaining that a man who appeared to drunk or 'on something' was going to the ice cream freezer and performing his own version of highly improper sampling.

Police arrested Dennis Farmer, 26, of Lufkin and charged him with public intoxication.  The ice cream containers in question were thrown out.
