Lufkin Police Looking for Public’s Help in Search of Teenager

The Lufkin Police Department is asking for the public’s help in the search for a teenager reported missing by his father late Thursday.

According to a press release from the Lufkin PD, the father of 15-year-old Ty Conway said he last saw his son earlier in the day at their home at 608 Morrow Avenue in Lufkin. Conway’s father said he could not find his son after waking up from a nap and believes he may have left around 7 p.m. He said Conway may have been wearing a black and orange “Tarver Logging” baseball cap.

He is described as having shoulder-length, dirty-blonde hair, blue eyes, 5’4 and weighs 120 pounds. Conway has friends and family in the Pollok area, Hanks Creek area and Baytown, according to his father. He also has a tattoo of three dots in the form of a triangle on his left hand.
