Lufkin Restaurant Robbed at Knifepoint

Los Regios Restaurant on North Raguet in Lufkin was the location of an aggravated robbery last night and law enforcement officials are looking for the suspect(s). 

According to the Lufkin Police Department, Monday night around 8:30, Lufkin Police Officers were dispatched to Los Regios at 707 N. Raguet in response to an aggravated robbery that had just occurred.  The owner reported that a light skin male with a black bandana type material over his nose and mouth, entered through the unlocked back door of the business brandishing a large knife and demanding money.  The owner reported the man pushed her into the bathroom and she locked the door from inside.  When she heard the suspect leave out the back door, she came out of the bathroom to find the contents of her purse had been emptied, and when she walked outside found that her truck, a white 2000 Dodge Dakota, had been stolen.

At this time, no arrests have been made and the case is being investigated by detectives.
