It looks like Maren Morris is back in her happy place! The "My Church" star shared with fans via social media on Thursday (April 26) that she's back in the recording studio, laying down new music.

Morris said in February that she was working on a new album — one she'll have to finish before hitting the road with Niall Horan this summer on his Flicker World Tour. It seems she's full steam ahead on the project, if you go by what she shared on Instagram. The picture shows a sheet of paper that reads "MM2 Studio Days" with her hand (and giant rock on her ring finger) covering the song titles.

"She’s ready to record," Morris writes in the caption.

The singer tells Zane Lowe of Beats 1 that while the new album will bear resemblance to her groundbreaking debut album Hero (blending elements of country, soul and R&B), she's also challenging herself to step out of the norm and add new songwriters to the mix this time around.

"I'm kind of getting out of my comfort zone on this next record but I'm still writing with a lot of the same friends of mine that were on the first. That kind of shapes the sound for me is just connecting the dots of all the songs," Morris explains. "So it's a little bit of everything but still really rooted in a country where I'll always be.”

While waiting for new music, fans can hear her Zedd collab, "The Middle," all over the radio, in addition to her sassy new country single "Rich." You can also hear her talents on the Elton John tribute project Restoration: Reimagining the Songs of Elton John and Bernie Taupin, to which she contributed a fabulous version of "Mona Lisa and Mad Hatters."

Morris tours the U.S. and Canada with pop's Horan beginning on July 18 in Houston.
