Miranda Lambert joins the worlds biggest pop stars, including Beyoncé, Britney Spears, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga, as one of the top-earning women in the music industry in 2015.

Lambert lands at No. 8 on the Forbes list, having earned a total of $28.5 million in revenue over the last year. Her income is diverse: The singer has earned profits from her music, of course, but also from her clothing and pet accessory lines and her partnerships with Red55 Wine, the Pink Pistol and Dixie Darlin'.

Lambert took home the award for Female Vocalist of the Year at the 2015 CMA Awards in November, marking her sixth year claiming the title. The 32-year-old performed "Bathroom Sink" during the Nov. 4 awards ceremony; the track highlights the struggles that many women have with maintaining a positive body image while dealing with the pressure to look a certain way.

“It’s definitely more pressure on women, and we put so much pressure on ourselves to look a certain way, to look like other women,” Lambert says. “It’s hard; some days you do feel beautiful, and then someone will knock you down with a mean comment. It’s exhausting. Weight issues, fake lashes and tanning, and all the stuff that goes into just going out into public sometimes. I wish I could just not do it for a day and see what happens.”

Lambert wrapped up her all-female Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars Tour, which also featured RaeLynnAshley MonroeCourtney Cole and Clare Dunn, earlier this fall. A list of her upcoming performances can be found at MirandaLambert.com.
