MITM Video of the Day – Amazing Screen Test Launches Boy’s Career

It may be hard to believe, but it has been over 30 years since the release of the blockbuster movie, 'E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial'.  The story revolves around a small boy named Elliott who tries to protect a new found alien friend from the law and in the process tries to get him back home. 

A young Henry Thomas plays the part of Elliott in the movie.  So convincing and moving was Thomas in his screen test for the part that he landed the job on the spot.  Take a look at that audition.
