Mom Shot Dead, Newborn Taken Outside The Woodlands Doctor’s Office

The Montgomery County Sheriffs Office along with the Department of Public Safety are reporting a horrendous crime that has taken place this afternoon.

Around 2:30, a confrontation in a pediatrician's parking lot in The Woodlands led to the killing of a mother and the kidnapping of her 3 day old infant. 

The baby's name is Keegan Schuchardt.  An Amber Alert has been issued for the child and a report that came out around 6:15 indicates that police officers with guns drawn have surrounded a unit at the Fawndale Apartments on Sawdust Lane at Sawmill.
