Mutton Bustin’ Brings More Spills and Thrills on Night Number Two
Night number two of the Angelina Benefit Rodeo at the George H Henderson Jr Expo Center in Lufkin brought more spills and thrills in mutton bustin'. I've never seen more kids getting flipped, riding sideways, and getting faces full of dirt...but, they were all tough and came away with some great rides.
12 riders once again took part last night with the top four scorers coming back for the championship round on Saturday. Those top four were Craig Forke from Lufkin who rode for 92 points, closely behind was Nicklous Hodges of Pollok with a score of 91, next was Brooklyn Carroll of Hudson who rode for 85 points, and rounding out the top four was Rye Reynolds of Lufkin who rode for 84 points.
We'll have 12 more riders tonight and then the championship round on Saturday. Here are our riders from Thursday.
