The Angelina Benefit Rodeo is coming up April 20th through 23rd at the George H Henderson, Jr. Expo Center in Lufkin.  In addition to the best cowboys and cowgirls competing for cash, 48 youngsters will get the chance to claim their few minutes of fame.

The annual Mutton Bustin' Championships with KICKS 105 and Cavenders will be taking place every night of the rodeo.  12 riders each night will be riding for top points and the shot at being named the nightly champion.

Registrations are being taken at Cavenders on Highway 59 South in Lufkin.  Drawings for the riders will take place Tuesday between 3-5 p.m. during the KICKS 105 Road Show, so make sure that you have signed up your kids by the time the broadcast starts.  In order to have the chance to ride, kids must be between the ages of 5-9 and weigh 60 pounds or less.

46 out of the 48 riders will be drawn from the registrations at Cavenders.  However, 2 other riders will be drawn from kids registered through the KICKS 105 VIP site.
