Mutton Busting Pictures and Video from Thursday’s Nacogdoches Rodeo

It was a great night for rodeo Thursday at the Nacogdoches County Exposition and Civic Center.  The Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo kicked off at 7 with 15 area youngsters trying their best to ride a sheep in the mutton bustin' competition.  

Contestants included Lukas Bass, Jaxson Medley, Dakota McBride Skeeters, Mason Land and Sabastian Middleton from Nacogdoches, Jagger Shaw, Kaylee DeSha and Jase DeSha of Garrison, Jaiden Thompson of Alto, Rylie Fernandez and Derrick Allen of Lufkin, Bryce and Jordynn Fountain of Center, Brantley Wheeless of Timpson, and Tristan Rangel of Woden.

Jagger Shaw was the 2nd kid to ride Thursday and he made the most of his ride for a score of 87, which was tops among all the rides.  Take a look at all of the rides in the video below.  The gallery above includes some of the riders as well as some of the folks gathered in Barn one getting ready for the Calf Scramble.
