The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a Jasper County senior citizen who has been missing since Friday afternoon.

Officers are asking the public to be on the lookout for Vernon Caillier, diagnosed with a Cognitive Impairment, White, Male, 66 years old, DOB 01/08/1949, HEIGHT 5’ 10”, WEIGHT 200 lbs, Brown Hair, Green Eyes, wearing a plaid western shirt, Wrangler Blue Jeans, Black Boots.  The subject wears wire glasses, has two scars on his chest and drags his feet when he walks.

The senior citizen was last seen at 04:30 PM, on August 14th at 2246 Highway 62, Buna, Texas driving a Black Over Brown 2014 Ford F-250 King Ranch Pick-Up with TX License Plate FST-1334.

Law enforcement officials believe this senior citizen’s disappearance poses a credible threat to his own health and safety.  If you have any information regarding this missing senior citizen, contact the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office at 409-384-5417.
