Week one of 'Britain's Got Talent' got underway last week. You've heard of 'American Idol', 'X Factor', and 'The Voice', well, this is England's version, spearheaded by Simon Cowell. The first week of this season has come and gone, but the group called 'Attraction' left folks mesmerized and in tears.
Alabama have certainly earned the right to be known as one of the best country bands of all time, with 21 Gold, Platinum, and multi-Platinum albums, 43 No. 1 singles, eight Entertainer of the Year Awards, and over 73 million records sold. It's been 40 years since their start, and they'll be combining their legendary greatness with some of country's biggest stars for a collaborative album called 'Alabama & Friends.'
The 2013 MTV Movie Awards winners, though by no means as hyped as, say, the 2013 Oscars, are a fun affair nonetheless. Most of the awards, with exceptions to the "specialty" categories, are voted on by the fans, which means many of the titles that got snubbed during awards season now have another chance for the recognition many believe they deserve.
