According to a report from ABC News, the Knox County Sheriff’s Department in Indiana has confirmed that a man was killed late Sunday night when he was struck by a tour bus while walking in the roadway on US Highway 41 near Vincennes, Indiana.  The bus belongs to Jason Aldean’s tour.

It was not immediately known why the pedestrian, Albert Kennedy of Vincennes, was walking in the middle of the highway.

Jason Aldean was on board the tour bus when the accident occurred.  Aldean had been scheduled to play a concert in Dallas this past Saturday, but that show was cancelled due to bad weather.

The singer has indicated that he will release a statement concerning the accident on his Twitter account.
