This week's feature pet from the Humane Society of Angelina County is a 5 year old chihuahua mix named Daisy.  She's sweet and is very accomplished at giving the ultimate sad eyes look.  Not only could you give Daisy a forever home, but you could also help eliminate her pain.

Daisy came to the shelter with a preexisting condition of displaced patellas, basically meaning that her knees slip out of joint when she walks.  Daisy is still able to get around fine, but she is on pain medication.

Here's the great news - her donors will take care of the entire cost of the surgery to fix her patella issue, however, the surgery can not be done until Daisy has a forever home.  The shelter is not a good place for recovery, but a forever home would be.
