Tornado Warnings Issued In East Texas

The National Weather Service has issued tornado warnings for portions of Nacogdoches, Shelby, Sabine, and San Augustine counties.  Two storm cells are causing these warnings.  The first storm cell is located near Arcadia which is about 15 miles southwest of Center, the other cell is located just east of San Augustine.  Both cells are moving southeast.  

3:25, 4/11/12

The National Weather Service has now issued a tornado warning for southeastern Rusk county until 4:15.  A second severe storm has developed with a possible tornado, and this storm is located near Minden, about 15 miles south of Henderson.  The storm is moving south-southeast, persons in Mt. Enterprise and Lawsonville should take caution.

2:50, 4/11/12

As of 2:48 this afternoon, the National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for southern Rusk County.  Radar indicated a severe thunderstorm with a possible tornado located about 8 miles west of Henderson and moving southeast.

Persons in Minden, Texas and near Mt. Enterprise should keep a look out for this storm.
