Rain is the order of the day for Thursday in Deep East Texas.  According to forecasters, widespread amounts of up to an inch should fall with some isolated totals closer to 2 inches.

Then, as we move into the weekend get ready for cooler weather to welcome August.  You may recall we had a weak cool front to kick off the month of July, well, apparently August doesn't want to be left out.

We can expect a high on Friday of 85 with a low near 66!  Saturday should be just a few degrees warmer.  This makes for great weather for the Great Texas Mud Race which is Friday and Saturday nights at the Nacogdoches Expo Center Fairgrounds.
