Randy Bridges Memorial Event Planned for Saturday

This Saturday from 7pm - 1am, the 3rd annual Randy Bridges Memorial Scholarship Fund Event will be taking place at the VFW in Corrigan.  Entertainment will be provided by Lone Star Karaoke and DJ. 

BBQ brisket sandwiches will be served, plus there will be numerous prizes given away.

Bridges passed away from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident in October of 2010.  He was a former member of the Polk County and Angelina County Sheriff's Departments.  Proceeds from this event go to a scholarship fund at the Police Academy at Angelina College.
