Randy Travis OK After Passing Out On Stage

The bad news is that Randy Travis passed out while singing on stage, the good news is that the room he was playing was full of doctors.

According to our Man in Nashville, Jimmy Carter, Travis, 52,  was performing at the annual Crystal Heart Gala at a hospital in Fort Worth when he fell to the floor. 

A few doctors close to the stage rushed to help Travis.  After a few moments, he was able to walk off the stage under his own power and then treated on his tour bus.

Official word from Randy Travis' camp is that he had been battling laryngitis and allergies and a combination of over the counter allergy medication, too much caffeine, and dehydration led to the episode on stage.

Travis is now taking a few days off and recuperating at his home near Nashville.
