Rixx Reviews New Animated Movie Trailers – Mid June 2015 [VIDEO]

It's all about animation this week on episode 2 of "Rixx Reviews". Our part-time employee, and "whipping boy", Mark Cunningham joins Steve for in-depth commentary and insight. We take a look at 3 new animated films that are headed to theaters and we have a poll for you to vote on your favorite. We've got the trailers for, "The Peanuts Movie", "The Secret Life Of Pets", and "Inside Out". These will be great movies for the whole family, and one of them is opening this week, so watch this video now! Then vote on your favorite please. Results will be discussed in next weeks episode!

If I had to pick just one to watch, it would be "Inside Out". This latest addition from Pixar looks to take on serious emotional themes with animated characters that will most likely leave you and your family in tears you'll oddly be okay with. I give the trailer for "Inside Out" 5 out of 5 Bags of Popcorn!

"Peanuts" holds a special place in my old heart. It's cool that instead of live action, the studios went with a stylized realistic texture to the original character designs of the characters we have all grown up with. It blends a bit of the old with a bit of the new, but Charlie Brown and his dog, Snoopy are back for a new generation of kids to fall in love with. I give the trailer for "Peanuts" two big toes up!

When I heard the title for "The Secret Life of Pets" I figured it would be another movie where the pets are secretly spies or super heroes. I was pleasantly surprised at the trailer showing the pets just hanging out in their homes. It's almost a bit like Toy Story in its premise, but I have a feeling "The Secret Life of Pets" has a lot more surprises up its sleeves in the year that we'll have to wait for it to be released in theaters. I give this trailer 48 out of 50 dog treats!
