Texas singer-songwriter Roger Creager will make his way back to East Texas on Friday night (March 28). Roger will be putting out a brand new album in July, so I'm sure we'll get to hear the new single "The River Song"!

I'm a huge fan of Roger, and have been for many years. It'll be good to see my buddy, and hear some new tunes from him that night. I'll be front and center for this one!

The new album was produced by Texas music treasure, Lloyd Maines. The new single is all about floating a river, whichever river you choose: mine is the Comal or Guadalupe. Roger and I chatted recently about his upcoming birthday party celebration in Gruene that he does every year, and he let me in on a little secret: We're going to float the Guadalupe together, with several thousand friends!  More details to come. Here's Roger doing one of my favorites, "Tangle Me In You", recorded live at Music Fest 2011. Awesomeness!  See you Friday night at Banita Creek Hall.
