Ron Palillo, who played Arnold Horshack on the show Welcome Back Kotter, has died.  He was 63. He passed away at his home in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida Wednesday morning.

Back in the 70′s, I can still remember trying to do my best impersonation of “Ooh, ooh!  Mr. Kotter!” and trying to pull off his abrasive, hyena-like laugh.

Palillo marks the 2nd passing this year of one of the ‘Sweathogs’.  Bobby Hegyes, who played Juan Epstein, passed away earlier in 2012.
