Routh Found Guilty of Murder of Chris Kyle, Chad Littlefield

It took a jury in Stephenville less than 3 hours to find Eddie Ray Routh guilty in the murders of 'American Sniper' author Chris Kyle and his friend Chad Littlefield.   

According to a report from WFAA, closing arguments were concluded late this Tuesday afternoon in the Erath County courtroom.  That's when Judge Jason Cashon gave jurors instructions and sent them off for evening deliberations.  Due to the speed at which the jurors reached their decision, speculation was widespread that the verdicts would come back guilty.

Victim impact statements are being read late this evening before sentencing by Judge Cashon.  Eddie Routh could receive up to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
