As I'm sure you all know, one of the most outspoken Dallas Cowboys players was right here from our neck of the Pineywoods. Yes, I'm talking about #88, Dez Bryant.

Dez graduated from Lufkin High School in 2007, before going on to play college football at Oklahoma State University. Then, in 2010, he was drafted into 'Jerry's World', otherwise know as the Dallas Cowboys.

Today, April 13, 2018, that all changed. According to an official statement from Jerry Jones, Dez Bryant was released from the Cowboys. Here is the statement that was posted:

Of course, with the release of this statement, the world of social media, especially here in East Texas went wild. There were lots of speculations as to where he might go next, what team might pick him up, and other considerations such as these. Dez's personal response via Twitter is below:

So, now we'll ask the question: What's next for Dez? What team(s) will be looking to pick him up next? Here's one for you: Will he finally win a Super Bowl? And, of course, what does this mean for the Cowboys?

All of these are legitimate questions. As for me, I'm still holding out hope that JJ Watt, DeShaun Watson, and Jadeveon Clowney will all stay healthy and bring the title to Houston, since I'm not really on the Cowboys side of things. But that's just me.
