Schlitterbahn Looking to Open New Cedar Park Location in 2013

Schlitterbahn has locations in South Padre, Kansas City, Galveston and the 3 separate parks at the original New Braunfels location( .

Plans have been place for a new location in Cedar Park in Northwest Austin.  However, there have been a number of delays and the proposed opening has been moved back to no sooner than the Summer of 2013. 

My family's favorite is still the New Braunfels location, and most specifically, the old park location there.  The numerous tube rides range from a step above calm to rough enough to knock you out of your tube.  We also like the fact that many of the rides last at least 15 minutes and the wait times aren't too bad since there is constant loading of the rides.

Add to that many of the rides feature water from the spring fed Comal River, and you have a cold, refreshing way to alleviate the hot Summer heat.
