Search for Missing Southeast Texas Man Continues

Saturday evening, the State of Texas State Operations Center issued a Silver Alert of William Gant, Sr. and as of 1 p.m. Monday, August 1st, the search continues. 

The Hardin County Sheriff's Office would like for everyone to be on the lookout for this senior citizen and the vehicle in which he is believed to be driving.  Gant is a white male, 83 years of age, stands 6'1" and weighs around 220 pounds.  He has gray hair, brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a denim shirt, blue jeans, and boots.  He has been diagnosed with a cognitive impairment.

Gant was last seen at 3 p.m. on Saturday in Kountze, Texas.  He was driving a maroon, 2006 Ford Pickup with TX License Plate BPS4995.
