Severe Storms Moving into East Texas

Some parts of East Texas are getting a little break from the heat this evening as storms, severe in some cases, are moving into Nacogdoches and Shelby Counties.

Central Heights, Mt. Enterprise, Center, and Tenaha are some of the areas getting the worst of the storms as of 6:30 this evening.

According to radar, these storms are moving generally southward, so the cities of Nacogdoches, Garrison, and eventually Lufkin, Huntington, and San Augustine could be affected.

A severe thunderstorm watch is also in effect until 2 Sunday morning for all of East Texas.
