SFA Baseball Camps Available In June

The Stephen F. Austin baseball team just ended the 2010-2011 season last weekend in San Marcos after finishing runner-up in the Southland Conference Tournament. The Lumberjacks have had a phenomenal season this year - breaking school history with a total of 37 wins and advancing to the championship game at the conference tournament.

Although the players are looking forward to getting a break this summer, the coaches can't wait to start their annual Lumberjack Baseball camps this month. 

The SFA Baseball Camps cover all phases of the game, including hitting and pitching as well defensive and offensive skills on the field. Kids of all skill levels are invited to participate, as each individual camper will learn the proper techniques and have plenty of time to practice and master those skills during camp times. 

The four camps offered in June include: 

High School Evaluation Camp
Date: June 5th, 2011
Time: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Ages: Ages 15-18
Cost: $100 

Youth Camp I
Date: June 6-9, 2011
Ages: 5-12
Full Day Cost: $150
Half Day Cost: $125 

Youth Camp II
Date: June 13-16, 2011
Ages: 5-12
Full Day Cost: $150
Half Day Cost: $125

Camp Times:
Half Day Time: 9:00 am-Noon
Full Day Time: 9:00 am-2:30 pm
*If attending full day camp, please bring a lunch to eat*

High School Camp
Date: June 20-21, 2011
Time: 9:00 am-2:30 pm
Ages: Ages 13-18
Cost: $100
