Shocker!! Nacogdoches High School Athletic Director Retires

Long time Nacogdoches High School educator and coach Farshid Niroumand is retiring.

The head soccer coach and athletic director has been with NHS for 30 years, but there seems to be a lot of controversy with this move.

According to a report from KTRE-TV, Niroumand is retiring after he said he was offered a job reassignment.

There are numerous rumors being tossed around social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter that give possible reasons for the school board's offer and action.  A support Coach Farshid page has even been constructed.  Most postings seem to support Niroumand for his actions, and many are posting sadness at seeing the teacher and coach leave.
