Silver Alert Issued for Missing Lufkin Man

A statewide Silver Alert has now been issued for a Lufkin man that was reported missing Sunday evening by the Lufkin Police Department.  The search continues for Algianon Jeffero who is diagnosed with a cognitive impairment.

He is described as follows:

• Black male
• 85 years old
• Date of birth - 11/17/1933
• Five feet, eleven inches tall
• 207 pounds
• Gray hair
• Brown eyes

He was last seen on foot Sunday evening around 6 p.m. near Rowe Avenue in northwest/north central Lufkin.   He was wearing a blue sweat shirt, blue sweat pants, and green shoes.
