Six ‘F-Series’ Pick-Ups Burglarized Tuesday Night in South Lufkin

Police responded to a rash of vehicle burglaries Tuesday night along South First Street in Lufkin.  A total of 6 vehicles were broken into and all of them were 'F-series' Ford pick-up trucks. 

In total, three F-250's, two F-350's, and 1 F-450 were burglarized.  A number of items were taken by the suspect(s) included pistols, knives, phones, and personal documents.  Substantial damage was also reported to several door locks.

The burglaries took place mainly between 8 pm and 10:30 pm in the parking lots of the Lufkin Mall, Courtyard by Mariott, Hampton Inn, and the Texas Inn.  Lufkin detectives gathered information which included lifting fingerprints from some of the vehicles.
