Soup or Sop In Diboll

I had the pleasure this afternoon of being one of the many judges at the T.L.L. Temple Memorial Library's Soup or Sop contest in Diboll.

Basically, contestants had the option of entering their best soup or bread (which is used by many to sop the soup) to be judged.   There were entries from all across the area including a number of students from Diboll High School who submitted their best dishes.  The picture is the black bean soup that was voted the best.
