This year the flu is worse than it has been in at least a decade! How do you arm yourself against the flu? Yes, a flu shot is number one, but washing your hands correctly is another.

Turns out, most people aren't washing their hands long enough to get the flu virus off their hands. Twenty seconds is the magic number!

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends washing for at least 20 seconds and suggests singing "Happy Birthday" twice to allow enough time to remove and rinse off germs.

A recent survey showed that 75% of adult wash their hands 5 to 15 seconds.
Not only that but 29% of the people said they "sometimes" wash their hands after using a public bathroom and 1% said they NEVER wash their hands after using a public restroom! Yeeuuu!
