The 9th annual Pineywoods Cattle Baron's Gala is coming Saturday, October 13th to the George H. Henderson Jr. Expo Center in Lufkin.  This year's featured performer on the JM Chevrolet Stage will be 4-time Grammy Award winner, Steve Wariner.  Over the past several decades, Wariner has charted over 30 Top-10 singles including 14 #1 hits--songs like "Some Fools Never Learn," "Small Town Girl," "The Weekend," and "I Should Be With You." In 1998 he won the Country Music Association’s Single and Song of the Year awards for his #1 hit, “Holes in the Floor of Heaven,” which was also the Academy of Country Music’s Song of the Year in 1999.

The Pineywoods Cattle Baron's Gala is a one-of-a-kind evening, featuring great food, dancing, a spectacular auction, and much more. It will be our first 'Party with a Purpose' that will be held inside, so this year's theme has been appropriately billed as  Under The Big Top, supporting The Greatest Cause on Earth.
