Apparently we haven't lived until we've tried the Houston Astros' Chicken Waffle Cone or the Texas Rangers' famous 2-foot-long hot dog. And now there's a festival that's showcasing the wild concessions from all 30 Major League Baseball stadiums. Pack the treadmill!

It takes hard work, great character, and unwavering focus to be a champion.  It's even more difficult to be repeat champions.

What the young men who make up the Nacogdoches 10U Dixie League All Stars have accomplished over the past 3 seasons is amazing...what they hope to achieve over the next two weeks would be historic and unprecedented.

'Brandon Belt leap frogs teammates after learning he won All Star Vote'.  Man, that would be a great picture/headline combo if only it were true.

The Major League Baseball All-Star Game is coming up on Tuesday, July 12th.  The biggest stars and best performers in baseball will gather in San Diego...and Brandon Belt could be representing East Texas.

Hudson's Brandon Belt accomplished a rarity Wednesday night during San Francisco's game with the Boston Red Sox.  He launched a majestic home run which completely traveled out of the ball park and into McCovey Cove.

San Francisco 1st baseman and Hudson, Texas native Brandon Belt has had a solid career with the Giants.  Plus, 2 World Series Championship rings at the age of 27 is not bad, either.

This Saturday, February 6th, the Central High School Baseball team will be hosting their 2nd annual First Pitch Dinner.  The event gets underway at 6:30 p.m. at the Central High School cafeteria.

There was a lot of dramatics at a youth baseball game at Morris Frank Park Thursday evening, unfortunately, much of that drama took place off the field and in the stands.

Maybe you thought that $26 hot dog at the Ballpark in Arlington wouldn't last long after it was introduced in 2012.  Surely there wouldn't be much demand for a hot dog as long as your son's arm.  It's gluttonous.   Oh, but it's popular!  And the enormous dog made the ESPN spotlight this week.

The Huntington 12U All Star baseball team made a visit to the Merrell in the Morning Show this week.  These guys are the Dixie League State Champions and they'll be representing the Lone Star State in South Carolina at the World Series August 7th-16th.
