It's kind of ironic that Willie Nelson will be performing in Lufkin tonight. The first time that I ever heard of Pat Green was when he opened a show for Willie at the Nacogdoches Expo Center...I didn't make that show.

However, I did make it to his next show in East Texas, at Jitterbugs (remember that club?), and I've been a huge fan ever since.

The vast majority of songs that Brandon Rhyder has released on his CDs are original works. However, a few months ago, Brandon slipped on the headphones and relaxed while listening to one of his favorites - Don Williams.

When "Lord I Hope This Day Is Good" came on, Brandon decided that he wanted to do a cover version of that song...and so he did. And now, it's his latest single.
