Jack Barlow, the voice behind ‘I Love Country Music’ and other hits, passed away on Friday after a lengthy struggle with an undisclosed illness. He was 87.

A World War Two veteran, Barlow was a relative late bloomer in the music business. He was 40 when he finally moved to Nashville, where his distinctive baritone quickly scored him a record deal and a string of ’60s hits that included his signature number, ‘I Love Country Music,’ as well as ‘Catch the Wind’ and ‘Birmingham Blues.’

Actor James Arness, who played the legendary Marshal Matt Dillon on the popular Western series 'Gunsmoke,' died Friday of natural causes at his home in Los Angeles, a family spokesperson has confirmed. He was 88.

Legendary wrestler 'Macho Man' Randy Savage died today in a car accident in Tampa, Florida, reports TMZ. He was 58.

Savage's brother, Lanny Poffo, said he passed away after he lost control of his car when he had a heart attack shortly before 9:30AM. The Florida Highway Patrol says Savage drove across a concrete median and into oncoming traffic before he hit a tree.
