Up to 7 Inches of Rain Possible in East Texas Through Wednesday

A strong storm system to our southwest is expected to slowly move towards and through the Pineywoods of East Texas over the course of the next 36 hours bringing with the the potential for heavy rains and severe weather.

Up To 7 Inches Of Rain Expected In Parts Of East Texas

Beginning this afternoon and continuing through Sunday, a major rain event is expected across the eastern third of Texas, including the Pineywoods.

A cold front is expected to push through later this evening and then stall just to the south of us.
