This summer will be action-packed with all of the high-profile tours going on in country music. One of the most anticipated treks, however, is Rascal Flatts‘ American Band Tour, also featuring Eli Young Band, Little Big Town and Edens Edge.

Congratulations to Mike Eli, James Young, and the rest of the guys from the Eli Young Band. The guys that were on the Banita Creek Hall stage just a few short weeks ago, were on the ACM stage in Vegas last night accepting the award for Song of the Year.

The Eli Young Band is on fire! They just scored their first number one song with 'Crazy Girl', and their latest single 'Even If It Breaks Your Heart' is making a run to the top of the charts as well. Wednesday night, EYB will be on stage at Banita Creek Hall in Nacogdoches.

For some country music fans, Eli Young Band is a new group of guys on the rise. What they may not know is that the band has been hard at work building their career for well over a decade, even though they just celebrated their first No. 1 single with ‘Crazy Girl.’

Like millions of Americans who watched President Obama’s State of the Union address on Tuesday night, the Eli Young Band paid close attention to the details of his message — at least for as long as they could before likely toppling over. A recent tweet from the band indicates they made a drinking game out of the 65-minute long speech.

'You Don't Know Her Like I Do' by Brantley Gilbert wins again, this time taking 75% of the vote against the latest by Ronnie Dunn. Now, Gilbert will be matched up against the new song from the Eli Young Band.  Take a listen to both songs after the jump.

'If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away' by Justin Moore's wins again, this time taking 73% of the vote against 'Crazy Girl' from the Eli Young Band. Today, Moore takes on 'Just A Kiss' by Lady Antebellum.  If Justin wins today's battle, his song will be guaranteed a place in the finals which will take place December 22nd and 23rd.

'If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away' by Justin Moore's may end up being East Texas' number one song of 2011.  That song took 67% of the vote in yesterday's Country Clash against  'Let Me Down Easy' by Billy Currington. Moore will try to keep the streak alive today as he takes on a band that had their first number one of the year - The Eli Young Band.
